Le Jardin (Safi)

Le Jardin (Safi) is a world-class right-hand point break located north of Safi, with a reputation for fast, powerful, hollow/barreling walls and very long rides. The wave is described as exposed, and its performance is strongly tied to getting the right offshore wind setup. The break is widely reported as starting to work around 2–2.5 m (and holding up to 5 m and over). When it’s on, rides are typically 150–300 m, with exceptional days exceeding 500 m. Wave quality is repeatedly described as world-class, and the point-break nature produces a consistent right-hand line. Access is a recurring theme: the spot is described as hard to find and pretty well hidden, with difficult rocky entry/exit near the point. The line-up includes rocks and submerged rock hazards, and current conditions can become serious as swell size increases (rip currents/sweeps). Local guidance emphasizes using low tide as a focal window, with good conditions also occurring on rising and falling tides. Condition reliability is highlighted for late summer: clean surfable waves are reported 87% of the time in August, with 3% blown out and 10% too small. Crowds are described as rarely crowded (empty weekdays and only a few surfers on weekends), supporting the idea that sessions are serious, advanced, and typically not hectic.
